In light of the festive season, here is the very cherry smoothie that celebrity Jennifer Anniston swears by. Not only is this smoothie full of fibre and protein, but also has muscle soothing and metabolism boosting properties. It’s the perfect homemade natures energy drink that’s full of flavour and won’t hurt your waistline, so give it a try your next breakfast or post – workout!

Very Cherry Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup frozen cherries
1/2 banana
1/2 cup water
1 scoop protein powder
1/2 Tbsp maca powder
1/2 Tbsp flaxseed
5 walnuts
Ice

Method:
Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
